Of course you can bathe. You should bathe. But take care and don’t catch a cold. In 1946, Walt Disney gave menstrual education.
The Story of Menstruation is a 10-minute animated film, produced by Walt Disney Productions in 1946. It was commissioned by the International Cello-Cotton Company (now Kimberly-Clark). It was the first commercially sponsored film to be distributed to high schools for health education classes: approximately 105 million American students have seen it.
The film was distributed with a booklet called Very Personally Yours, which naturally featured advertising of the Kotex brand. The booklet discouraged the use of tampons, as this market was dominated by rival Tampax.
The Story of Menstruation is the first Walt Disney film to use the word vagina. Funny: even back then the message was that you can easily ride horses during your menstruation.
